Tawnia Manuelito, LCSW

Tawnia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in psychotherapy and a graduate from New Mexico State University. Her entire professional career involved working with children and families in a variety of supportive and therapeutic settings.  She has extensive knowledge in attachment theory, social-emotional functioning, and neurological development across the human lifespan. 

As a member of the Acoma and Navajo tribes, Tawnia recognizes the power of culture in a person’s healing journey.  Tawnia’s clinical training focused on Strength-Based, Attachment Theory, and Trauma-Informed interventions.  Her work experience includes children, adolescents, families, and supporting individuals through depression and anxiety. 

Tawnia’s approach is to work collaboratively with clients, to cultivate their inner strengths, and witness the healing process with genuineness and care. She provides only video sessions until we secure an office in Grants, NM.
