Margarita is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in psychotherapy and a graduate from Tulane University. After 25 years of community-based social work legal advocacy, Margarita returned to focus on her clinical practice in psychotherapy. She has integrated her passion for advocacy into healing interventions in psychotherapy.
Margarita’s clinical training focused on Cognitive-Behavioral Theory, Solution-Focused Interventions, and Strength-Based Therapy. Her work experience includes intensive interventions with co-occurring disorders in a community agency, treating anxiety and depression in outpatient clinics, and supporting our elders as they transition into a new phase of life.
Margarita works collaboratively with clients in a safe and judgement free space, to create spiritual fulfillment, mental well-being and joy based on the client’s journey of life. She provides only video sessions.
